Dr. Ellen Turner's Academy: Built From 25 Years of Doing the Work and Wanting Others to Do It Better.
This Academy didn't start in a boardroom. It started in a clinic in Dallas, where a teenage girl with acne sat across from a dermatologist and felt genuinely seen. That girl grew up to become Dr. Ellen Turner and she never forgot what it felt like to be on the other side of the chair. Everything she has built since then has been shaped by that memory: the importance of being truly cared for, and truly skilled enough to care.
Over 25 years and more than 8,000 syringes of filler later, Dr. Turner has done what very few physicians have mastered the full spectrum of dermatology without compromise. Medical. Surgical. Cosmetic. Laser. From treating psoriasis to performing cannula-based butt augmentation, from removing skin cancers with superficial radiation to speaking to Vogue's beauty editors her career has never followed a single lane, because great dermatology rarely does.
But the more she grew, the more clearly she saw a problem: too many talented doctors were practicing in isolation, without mentorship, without community, and without access to the kind of clinical education that actually translates at the treatment table. She had lived that loneliness herself in her early years as a solo practitioner. She refused to let the next generation face it alone.
Dr. Turner's guiding belief is simple: "I want to care for every patient as if they were my own family member." She brings that same conviction to every student she trains. Because when doctors learn better, patients live better. And that's a legacy worth building.
